Salmon bite slow but nice fish are being caught

Although the salmon numbers on Oahe are not what they were several years ago, the salmon you catch in the system are in good shape. The problem is the bite is slow because the numbers aren't there. The drought of the last five years have limited the numbers of stocked salmon but if you are in the right place at the right time the fishing is good.
